Uneven cooking; one side of grill much hotter than the other

Safety first: Allow the grill to cool before adjusting internal components.

• Inspect heat diffuser: Remove and check the Nexgrill heat diffuser/heat baffle for warping or misplacement. Reinstall correctly centered over the fire pot.
• Clean air holes: Ensure all air holes around the fire pot are clear of ash.
• Rotate food and use zones: Until perfect balance is restored, place sensitive foods away from the hotter side and rotate during cooking.
• Shield from wind: Position the grill so wind does not blow directly into side vents or under the lid.
