Possible Causes

Faulty AC power outlet, Damaged power cord, Failed internal power supply on control board, Loose neutral or ground connection

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing any panels.

  • Test the wall outlet with another appliance to confirm it has power and is not on a tripped GFCI or breaker.
  • Inspect the grill’s power cord for cuts, crushed sections, or burn marks. Replace the cord if damaged.
  • Remove the controller mounting screws and gently pull the control board out. Check for loose wire nuts, spade connectors, or burned components on the board.
  • Ensure the main power input wires are tight on the control board terminals.
  • If the display powers on but ERR6 persists and neither the fan nor auger run, the internal low‑voltage supply on the control board is likely failed. Replace the control board assembly with an OEM part.

Warning: Do not attempt board‑level repairs unless you are trained in electronics; replacing the entire board is the safe approach.
