Possible Causes

Pellet level sensor (if equipped) dirty or stuck, Excessive sawdust blocking auger intake, Hopper lid switch (if equipped) not closing, Wet pellets clumping at intake

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn the grill OFF and unplug it.

  • Empty the hopper completely and vacuum out pellet dust and debris.
  • If your model has a pellet level sensor or hopper lid switch, inspect and clean these components so they move freely.
  • Check the auger intake opening for clumped or swollen pellets and clear them.
  • Refill with fresh, dry pellets and restart the grill.

Warning: Do not spray water or cleaners directly into the hopper; moisture will ruin pellets and can damage sensors.
