Possible Causes
Hopper lid left open, High humidity or rain exposure, Condensation inside hopper, Storing pellets in hopper for long periods
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the grill is OFF and cool.
- Remove all pellets from the hopper and discard any that are soft, swollen, or crumbly.
- Vacuum the hopper and auger intake to remove dust and residue.
- Allow the hopper to dry completely; you can leave the lid open in a dry environment for several hours.
- Refill with fresh, dry pellets and always keep the hopper lid closed when not in use.
Warning: Do not attempt to dry wet pellets in the grill; they will not burn properly and can cause jams.
