Displayed temperature is significantly different from actual grate temperature.

Safety first: Do not touch hot surfaces; perform adjustments when the grill is cool.

• Compare with reference thermometer: Place a reliable oven/grill thermometer at grate level and compare readings at several setpoints.
• Adjust offset: If your Rösle controller supports it, enter the settings menu and apply a temperature offset to match the reference thermometer.
• Reposition probe: Ensure the RTD probe is not directly over the firepot or touching metal surfaces that heat faster than the air.
• Replace RTD if inconsistent: If readings are erratic or far off even after offset, replace the RTD temperature probe.
