Possible Causes
Loose display harness, Failed LCD/LED display module, Corrupted control board firmware, Internal control board failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing the control panel.
- Access display module: Remove the screws securing the front control panel to expose the display and its wiring.
- Check connectors: Ensure the display harness is firmly seated on both the display module and the main control board. Look for bent pins or corrosion.
- Inspect for damage: Check the display PCB for cracks, burn marks, or moisture damage. Dry any moisture and clean gently if needed.
- Power test: Reassemble loosely, plug in the grill, and see if the display now initializes correctly. If still blank or showing ER11, the display or board may be defective.
- Replace display module: If available separately, install a new Rösle display module, transferring any mounting hardware and gasket.
- Replace control board if needed: If a new display does not resolve the issue, replace the main control board.
