• Clean and inspect auger: Empty the hopper and check the auger for buildup or partial jams that could cause surging pellet feed. Clean as needed.
• Verify RTD position: Ensure the RTD probe is not too close to the firepot or heat diffuser, which can cause the controller to read higher than actual grate temperature.
• Controller calibration: Consult your Rösle manual for any available temperature offset or feed rate calibration settings. Adjust according to instructions.
• Test at low setpoint: Set the grill to a low smoke temperature and monitor with an independent grill thermometer. Note any large deviations.
• Replace control board if unresponsive: If ER14 persists and calibration has no effect, the control board's low-temperature control circuit may be faulty and require replacement.
