Display shows ERR3 and the grill shuts down; fan does not run or runs only briefly.

Safety first: Unplug the grill and allow it to cool. Do not attempt to spin the fan while the unit is powered.

• Access the combustion fan: Remove the side or rear panel to locate the combustion (induction) fan mounted near the firebox on Rösle pellet grills.
• Inspect for obstructions: Check for grease, ash, foil, or debris caught in the fan blades or housing. Carefully remove any obstructions and wipe the blades clean.
• Check fan spin: Spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely without grinding. If it is stiff or seized, the motor is likely bad.
• Verify wiring: Trace the fan wires back to the control board. Ensure the connector is fully seated and wires are not burned or cut.
• Test fan operation: With panels still off but all parts clear, plug in the grill and start it while observing from a safe distance. The fan should start immediately. If it does not, power off and unplug.
• Replace fan if needed: Remove the mounting screws and disconnect the fan harness. Install a compatible Rösle combustion fan assembly, ensuring the airflow direction matches the original. Reconnect wiring.
• Reassemble and test: Refit the panel, plug in, and run a startup to confirm the fan runs continuously during operation.

If a known-good fan does not run, the control board fan circuit may be defective and should be replaced.
