Display shows ERR7; grill powers on but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing the control panel.

• Access control panel: Remove the screws securing the front control panel on your Rösle pellet grill to expose the backside of the display and keypad.
• Check ribbon cable: Locate the flat ribbon cable or harness connecting the keypad to the main board. Ensure it is fully seated and locked in place at both ends.
• Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation, grease, or water inside the panel. If present, gently dry the area with a lint-free cloth and allow the panel to air dry completely before reassembly.
• Clean contacts: If the ribbon connector is oxidized, carefully disconnect it and clean the contacts with electronic contact cleaner. Let dry fully.
• Test keypad: Reassemble the panel, plug in the grill, and test all buttons. If some keys still do not respond, the keypad membrane may be failing.
• Replace keypad or control panel: Install a replacement Rösle control panel or keypad assembly if available, transferring any mounting hardware and seals to maintain weather resistance.
