Clogged grease channel or drain tube, Misaligned drip tray, Overfilled grease bucket, Damaged or missing grease drain plug
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning grease components.
- Remove and clean drip tray: Take out the drip tray and scrape off built-up grease. Wash with hot soapy water and dry thoroughly.
- Clear drain channel: Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to clear the grease channel and drain tube leading to the bucket.
- Check bucket position: Ensure the grease bucket is properly hung and not overfilled. Empty it regularly.
- Inspect drain plug: Verify that any internal grease drain plug or cap is installed correctly and not cracked.
- Reinstall correctly: Refit the drip tray with the correct slope toward the drain so grease flows properly.
