How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Immediately unplug the grill and keep the hopper lid closed if you see smoke from the hopper. Have a fire extinguisher ready. Do not use water.
- Allow to cool: Let the grill and hopper cool completely before opening.
- Remove pellets: Once cool, empty the hopper and vacuum out charred pellets and dust.
- Inspect auger tube: Remove the auger and clean out any burned material. Check for warping or damage.
- Verify fan operation: Ensure the combustion fan runs properly during startup and shutdown cycles.
