• Clean RTD: Gently clean the RTD probe to remove grease and carbon, which can insulate it and slow response.
• Check RTD placement: Ensure the RTD is mounted in the factory location and not bent away from the main airflow path or touching metal surfaces.
• Controller calibration (if available): Some Recteq models allow offset adjustment. Apply a small offset to match the average difference observed with your external thermometer.
• Replace RTD if needed: If readings remain inconsistent or erratic, replace the RTD probe.
