Clogged grease channel on Royal Gourmet pellet grill, Drip tray installed backwards or not seated, Grease bucket missing or overfilled, Warped drip pan
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Allow the grill to cool completely before cleaning grease.
Steps to restore drainage:
- Remove and inspect drip tray: Ensure it is not warped and that it slopes correctly toward the grease channel.
- Clean grease channel: Scrape and wipe out the grease trough leading to the bucket. Use a flexible brush if needed.
- Check bucket position: Make sure the grease bucket is properly hung and not overfilled.
- Reinstall correctly: Reinstall the drip tray in the correct orientation per the Royal Gourmet manual.
