• Check fan operation: Observe whether the fan ever slows or cycles. If it runs at full speed constantly, the control board may be faulty.

• Adjust exhaust: If your Royal Gourmet model has an adjustable chimney cap, lower it slightly to increase dwell time of smoke (without restricting exhaust completely).
• Controller replacement: If fan control is clearly abnormal, replace the main control board.
