How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before working on the control panel.
- 1. Clean panel surface: Wipe the keypad area with a mild degreaser and soft cloth to remove grease.
- 2. Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and reseat the keypad ribbon cable on the control board.
- 3. Inspect for swelling or delamination: If the keypad overlay is bubbled or peeling, it may be allowing moisture in and should be replaced.
- 4. Replace keypad/control panel: If specific buttons consistently fail, replace the keypad membrane or the entire control panel assembly.
