Possible Causes
Aging LED/LCD display, Loose display connector, Moisture damage to control panel, Voltage regulator issue on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the grill before removing the control panel.
- 1. Inspect display lens: Clean the outside of the display window; grease film can make it appear dim.
- 2. Reseat display connector: Remove the control panel and locate the connector between the display and main board. Unplug and re‑plug firmly.
- 3. Check for moisture: Look for condensation or corrosion on the display PCB. Dry thoroughly and clean with contact cleaner if minor.
- 4. Replace control panel or board: If segments are permanently missing or the display remains very dim, replace the display module or entire control board assembly as supplied by Tepro.
