• 1. Reset P‑settings: Refer to the Tepro manual for restoring default P‑settings (pellet feed timing). Typically this involves holding specific buttons at power‑on to reset to factory defaults.
• 2. Avoid extreme P‑values: If your model allows manual P‑adjustment, avoid setting P too low or too high for ambient conditions. Start with the default and adjust only one step at a time.
• 3. Power cycle: Turn the grill off, unplug for 5 minutes, then plug back in and reconfigure. This can clear minor firmware glitches.
• 4. Firmware / board replacement: If P1 or related feed errors persist and the grill cannot maintain stable temperature despite correct settings and clean mechanical components, the control board may need replacement.
