Grease leaking from front or sides of pellet grill cabinet

Possible Causes
Clogged grease channel or drain tube, Drip tray installed backwards or not sloped correctly, Missing or misaligned grease bucket, Excess grease buildup on tray
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the grill is cool before handling greasy components.
- 1. Remove and clean drip tray: Scrape off heavy grease and wash with hot soapy water. Ensure the tray is not warped and that its slope directs grease toward the drain.
- 2. Clear grease channel and drain: Use a flexible brush or pipe cleaner to clear the grease channel and drain tube leading to the bucket. Flush with hot water if safe to do so.
- 3. Check bucket placement: Confirm the grease bucket is properly hung and directly under the drain outlet.
- 4. Reinstall correctly: Refit the drip tray in the correct orientation as shown in the Tepro manual, ensuring it seats fully and slopes toward the drain.
- 5. Regular maintenance: Clean the grease system frequently to prevent overflow and potential grease fires.
