Flame-Out During Low or Steady Cook
Pellet grill starts but goes out after 10–20 minutes, temperature drops and smoke stops

Possible Causes
Pellet bridging in hopper, Excessive ash buildup in fire pot, Weak combustion fan, Incorrect feed rate at low settings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn the grill off and allow it to cool before cleaning. Ensure there are no active embers.
- 1. Stir and refill hopper: During long cooks, occasionally stir pellets to prevent bridging. Keep hopper at least one‑third full.
- 2. Clean fire pot regularly: Vacuum ash from the fire pot every few cooks, or more often during long low‑and‑slow sessions. Ash buildup can smother the flame.
- 3. Check fan performance: Inspect and clean the combustion fan and air inlets. Replace the fan motor if it is noisy, slow, or intermittent.
- 4. Adjust cooking temperature: If flame‑outs occur only at the very lowest setting, increase the set temperature slightly or adjust P‑settings (if available) to increase feed at low temps.
- 5. Inspect pellets: Use high‑quality, dry pellets. Poor pellets can produce excessive ash and unstable combustion.
