Possible Causes
Undersized or overloaded extension cord, Low household line voltage, Failing internal power supply on main control board, Loose power inlet or ground connection
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the grill and unplug it before inspecting wiring. Do not operate the grill on a damaged or overheated cord.
- Eliminate extension cords: Plug the Timberwolf grill directly into a dedicated outlet. Avoid long, thin-gauge extension cords that cause voltage drop.
- Check outlet voltage: Use a multimeter to verify that the outlet provides stable 110–120 VAC (North America) or the specified voltage for your region.
- Inspect power cord and inlet: Examine the grill's power cord for cuts, burns, or kinks. Check the power inlet on the grill for looseness or discoloration. Replace a damaged Timberwolf Power Cord or Power Inlet Module as needed.
- Check internal connections: Remove the control panel access cover and verify that the main power leads are firmly attached to the Timberwolf Main Control Board and any internal terminal blocks.
- Assess the control board: If voltage at the board is correct but Er6 persists or the display flickers, the internal low-voltage power supply on the control board may be failing and the board should be replaced.
- Replace main control board (if required): Label and disconnect all harnesses, remove mounting screws, swap in a new Timberwolf Digital Control Board, and reconnect harnesses one by one.
