Display shows Er7 and grill will not start; buttons may be unresponsive or partially functional.

Safety first: Unplug the grill before opening the control panel. Avoid using water directly on the control panel.

• Inspect the control panel: Check for signs of water ingress, cracks, or physical damage to the keypad overlay.
• Access the keypad connector: Remove the screws securing the control panel to the grill body and gently pull it forward to expose the ribbon cable or harness connecting the keypad to the main board.
• Reseat the ribbon cable: Carefully unplug the ribbon cable, inspect for corrosion or bent contacts, then reinsert it fully and evenly into the connector.
• Dry the panel: If moisture is present, allow the panel and board to dry completely in a warm, dry area. Use gentle airflow; do not use high heat.
• Test operation: Reassemble loosely, plug in the grill, and test all buttons. If Er7 persists or some keys do not respond, the Timberwolf Control Keypad Assembly may be defective.
• Replace keypad or full control panel: Remove the old keypad assembly or full control module and install the replacement, ensuring a good seal against the grill body to prevent future moisture intrusion.
