Possible Causes
Wet or poor-quality pellets, Excessive heat loss due to wind or cold, Weak combustion fan, Partially blocked firepot air holes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the grill before cleaning or inspecting internal components.
- Check pellet quality: Replace any damp or crumbly pellets with fresh, dry hardwood pellets approved for Timberwolf grills.
- Clean firepot and air holes: Remove internal components and clear all ash from the firepot, ensuring every air hole is open.
- Inspect combustion fan: Confirm the fan runs strongly and continuously during operation. Clean the fan intake and housing to improve airflow.
- Shield from wind and cold: Use a Timberwolf-insulated blanket or windbreak in very cold or windy conditions to reduce heat loss.
- Verify lid and door seals: Inspect the cook chamber gasket and door alignment. Replace worn Timberwolf Door Gasket to prevent heat leakage.
