Safety first: Allow the grill to cool before adjusting internal sensors or wiring.

• Shield from wind: Move the grill to a more sheltered location or use a windbreak to reduce drafts across the exhaust and lid.
• Inspect RTD wiring: Ensure the RTD cable is not loose at the control board and that the probe is not touching food or racks.
• Use a thermal mass: Place a heat-retaining object (like a pizza stone) inside to help stabilize temperature swings.
• Update or reset controller (if supported): Some Timberwolf models allow firmware updates or PID resets. Follow the manual to restore default control parameters.
