Grill will not power on at all; no lights or display when switch is turned ON.

Safety first: You are working with mains voltage. If you are not comfortable using a multimeter around live power, contact a qualified technician.

• 1. Verify outlet:
  • Plug a lamp or other device into the same outlet to confirm power.
  • Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
• 2. Inspect power cord:
  • Check the Traeger power cord for cuts, burns, or crushed sections.
  • Ensure the plug blades are not bent or corroded.
• 3. Check power switch:
  • Confirm the power switch is firmly in the ON position.
  • If accessible, test continuity across the switch terminals when ON; replace the switch if open.
• 4. Inspect controller fuse (if equipped):
  • Remove the controller and look for an internal fuse or fusible link.
  • Replace only with the same rating if blown.
• 5. Replace controller:
  • If power is present at the controller input but it remains dead, replace the main control board/controller assembly.
