Possible Causes
Failed convection fan motor, Obstruction in fan blades, Loose fan wiring, Faulty fan driver on control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF and unplug the grill. Allow it to cool before accessing fans.
Steps to troubleshoot auxiliary fan errors:
- 1. Identify the fan: Determine which fan is not running (some Twin Eagles pellet units use separate combustion and convection/cabinet fans).
- 2. Access the fan: Remove the appropriate rear or side panel to expose the fan assembly.
- 3. Inspect for debris: Remove any foil, grease-soaked paper, or other debris contacting the blades. Vacuum dust and ash.
- 4. Check wiring: Confirm the fan connector is fully seated on the control board and that wires are intact.
- 5. Spin test: With power off, gently spin the fan blades. If they are stiff or seized, replace the fan motor assembly.
- 6. Replace fan if needed: Remove mounting screws, disconnect wiring, and install a new Twin Eagles-compatible convection/cabinet fan.
