Possible Causes

Shorted igniter, Shorted fan motor, Shorted auger motor, Incorrect fuse rating installed

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the grill before opening any panels. Never bypass or oversize a fuse; this is a fire hazard.

Steps to address fuse issues:

  • 1. Locate the fuse: Access the control board compartment and identify the main protective fuse.
  • 2. Check fuse rating: Confirm the installed fuse matches the rating specified by Twin Eagles (amperage and type).
  • 3. Inspect for obvious shorts: Look for burned wires, melted connectors, or components with visible damage.
  • 4. Isolate components: Disconnect one load at a time (igniter, fan, auger) and replace the fuse. Power on briefly to see if the fuse holds. The component that causes the fuse to blow when reconnected is likely shorted.
  • 5. Replace the faulty component: Install a new Twin Eagles-compatible igniter, fan, or auger motor as needed. Reinstall the correct fuse and retest.

If fuses continue to blow with all loads disconnected, the control board or power supply may be internally shorted and should be replaced by a technician.
