Buttons or control dial are physically stuck, hard to turn, or do not click properly.

Safety first: Unplug the grill before working on the control panel.

• Clean around controls: Use a soft brush and mild cleaner to remove grease and debris from around buttons and dials. Do not flood the panel with liquid.
• Inspect knob/dial: Remove the knob (if removable) and clean the shaft area. Check for cracks or warping.
• Test switches: With the panel open, manually actuate the switches to feel for proper click. If they feel mushy or do not actuate, the keypad or board must be replaced.
• Replace control panel components: Install a new keypad overlay or control board assembly as required.
