Possible Causes

Undervoltage from outlet or extension cord, Tripped internal fuse, Loose power cord connection, Faulty internal power supply on control board

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the grill before opening any electrical compartments. Do not bypass fuses.

  • Check outlet: Plug a known-good appliance into the same outlet to confirm it supplies power. Avoid using long or undersized extension cords.
  • Inspect power cord: Check the grill’s power cord for cuts, kinks, or burn marks. Ensure it is fully inserted into the grill’s inlet and the wall outlet.
  • Check GFCI/breaker: Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker feeding the outlet.
  • Internal fuse check: Remove the control panel cover and locate the inline or board-mounted fuse (if present). With the grill unplugged, remove and test the fuse with a multimeter for continuity. Replace only with the same type and rating if blown.
  • Inspect power supply section: Look for burnt components or discoloration near where the power cord connects to the board. If damaged, the control board must be replaced.
  • After corrections: Reassemble, plug in directly to a known-good outlet, and attempt startup. If E10 persists, replace the control board assembly.
