Steps to adjust:

• Check P-setting: In smoke mode, press the P button to see the current P value.
• Reduce pellet feed: If the grill is overshooting or producing excessive smoke, increase the P number (e.g., from P2 to P4) to lengthen auger off-time and reduce pellet feed.
• Verify exhaust: Ensure the chimney cap is adjusted correctly and not fully closed. There should be a clear path for smoke and heat to exit.
• Stabilize: After changing the P-setting, allow 15–20 minutes for the grill to stabilize and observe temperature behavior.
