Possible Causes

Incorrect phase rotation, Missing phase (blown fuse or breaker), Loose phase connection, Faulty phase monitoring circuit

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Danger: Three-phase high voltage. Only qualified personnel should work on phase wiring.

  • Verify all phases present: Check that all three phases have power at the main disconnect and at the heater terminals.
  • Check fuses and breakers: Replace any blown fuses and reset tripped breakers after identifying the cause.
  • Confirm phase sequence: If the unit was recently installed or rewired, verify that the phase sequence matches BWT requirements. Swap two phases if rotation is incorrect (qualified electrician only).

If E19 remains with correct phase presence and sequence, the internal phase monitoring circuit on the PCB may be defective and require board replacement.
