Possible Causes

Insufficient gas supply pressure to Certikin gas valve, Undersized gas pipework, Regulator fault at meter or cylinder, Blocked gas filter or isolation valve not fully open

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off gas and power. Only a Gas Safe (or local equivalent) engineer should adjust or test gas supply.

  • Check gas isolation valve: Ensure the valve at the heater is fully open.
  • Other appliances: Verify whether other gas appliances are operating normally; if not, there may be a supply issue.
  • Visual inspection: Look for kinks or damage in the gas pipework near the heater.
  • Do not attempt adjustment: Do not adjust regulators or gas valves yourself.

Low gas pressure must be investigated by a qualified gas engineer who can measure inlet pressure and correct any supply issues.
