Possible Causes

Water ingress into Certikin electrical compartment, Damaged cable insulation, Faulty fan motor or pump relay, Failing control PCB causing leakage to earth

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Do not repeatedly reset a tripping breaker. Isolate power and investigate the cause.

  • Inspect for moisture: Check inside the heater for signs of water leaks or condensation near electrical components.
  • Dry thoroughly: If moisture is present, dry the area and fix any leaks before re-energising.
  • Check cables: Look for obvious damage to cables entering the heater and to internal wiring looms.
  • Isolate auxiliaries: If possible, disconnect non-essential loads (e.g. external pumps controlled by the heater) to see if the trip stops.

Insulation resistance testing and component replacement should be carried out by a qualified electrician or service engineer.
