Possible Causes
Mis-calibrated Elecro thermostat, Faulty temperature sensor reading offset, Incorrect parameter settings in control PCB, Sensor not properly seated in flow tube
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before adjusting internal controls.
- Compare temperatures: Use a reliable pool thermometer to compare actual water temperature with the heater display. Note any consistent offset.
- Check sensor seating: Ensure the NTC sensor is fully inserted into its pocket or flow tube and secured with the retaining clip.
- Access calibration menu: If your Elecro model supports it, enter the installer menu (refer to manual) and adjust the temperature offset to match actual water temperature.
- Inspect sensor cable: Look for partial breaks or moisture that could cause drift in readings.
If calibration cannot correct the error or readings are unstable, replace the Elecro temperature sensor and, if needed, the control PCB.
