Possible Causes
Inlet and outlet sensors reading significantly different values, One of the dual sensors failed, Poor water mixing causing stratification, Sensor installed in wrong port
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before handling sensors.
- Check sensor placement: Ensure the Elecro inlet and outlet sensors are installed in the correct ports as per the manual and are fully inserted.
- Compare readings: In diagnostic mode (if available), view both sensor temperatures. A large constant difference suggests a faulty sensor.
- Swap sensors (test only): Temporarily swap the two sensors’ positions or connectors. If the error follows the sensor, that sensor is defective.
- Improve circulation: Verify that water is flowing adequately through the heater and that there are no dead legs causing poor mixing.
Replace any sensor that shows inconsistent or unrealistic readings compared to the other and to a reference thermometer.
