Elecro
Hydraulic Vibration / Resonance
Heater causes noticeable vibration in the connected pipework when running.

Possible Causes
High flow velocity through undersized Elecro connections, Pump cavitation, Loose mounting of heater or pipe supports, Air pockets in pipework
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power and pump before adjusting pipework or supports.
- Check flow rate: Compare pump output to Elecro’s recommended flow range. Throttle a bypass valve slightly if flow is excessive.
- Secure pipework: Add or tighten pipe clamps and supports near the heater to reduce movement.
- Bleed air: Remove trapped air from the system via bleed valves or by cycling the pump with valves open.
- Inspect pump: Check for cavitation signs (noise, air in pump basket) and correct suction-side restrictions.
Persistent vibration can stress joints and should be corrected to prevent leaks.
