How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Isolate power before removing the control fascia.

Inspect connections: Remove the front panel and check the ribbon cable or plug between the display and control PCB. Reseat firmly.
Dry moisture: If condensation is present, dry the area and improve sealing around the display window.
Check control voltage: A technician can measure the low-voltage supply to the display to ensure it is within spec.
Replace display: If the display remains dim or segments are missing, replace the Elecro display/thermostat module.

While the heater may still function, an unreadable display makes safe operation difficult and should be corrected.
