Possible Causes
Tripped external breaker or RCD, Blown internal control fuse, Loose connection at Elecro main terminal block, Faulty main on/off switch on heater
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Before opening the heater, turn off the breaker and verify absence of voltage.
- Check external supply: Verify that the dedicated breaker for the Elecro heater is on and has not tripped. Reset if necessary and observe if it trips again.
- Test RCD/GFCI: Ensure any upstream RCD/GFCI is not tripped. Reset and test.
- Inspect internal fuse: With power isolated, open the heater and locate the low-voltage/control fuse. Test and replace with the exact rating if blown.
- Check terminal block: Confirm that supply cables are firmly secured in the Elecro terminal block and that there is no sign of overheating.
- On/off switch: If your model has a rocker or rotary isolator on the front, test it for continuity. Replace if it does not pass power.
If the unit remains dead with correct supply and fuses, the control PCB may have failed.
