• Inspect elements: Remove the access cover and visually inspect the titanium elements for scale thickness.
• Chemical descaling: Follow Elecro’s instructions for circulating a suitable descaling solution through the heater, or remove elements and soak in an approved descaler.
• Rinse thoroughly: After descaling, flush the heater with clean water to remove all chemical residues.
• Adjust water chemistry: Work with a pool professional to maintain calcium hardness, pH, and alkalinity within recommended ranges to reduce future scaling.

Severely scaled or pitted elements should be replaced rather than cleaned.
