Possible Causes
Aging Elecro NTC sensor, Long sensor cable run picking up interference, Poor electrical connection at PCB, Operation at high temperatures accelerating sensor wear
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before handling sensors or PCB connections.
- Compare with reference: Periodically compare the heater’s displayed temperature with a calibrated pool thermometer.
- Inspect connections: Reseat the sensor connector on the PCB and check for corrosion.
- Replace sensor: If drift exceeds a few degrees and cannot be calibrated out, replace the Elecro NTC sensor with a new one.
Regular calibration checks help maintain accurate temperature control.
