How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off all power before opening the controller housing.
- Power reset: Disconnect power for several minutes, then restore. If Er4 returns immediately, internal electronics are likely damaged.
- Inspect board: Look for burnt components, bulging capacitors, or loose connectors between display and main board.
- Check surge protection: Verify that the system has adequate surge protection on the power feed. Consider adding a surge suppressor.
