Possible Causes
Failed DC fan motor (on inverter models), Faulty fan capacitor (on AC fan models), Obstruction preventing fan rotation, Loose fan motor connector on main PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect power before touching the fan or removing guards.
Steps:
- Check for obstructions: Look through the fan guard and remove leaves, plastic, or other debris that may block the fan blades. Do not bend the blades.
- Spin test: With power off, gently spin the fan by hand. It should rotate freely without grinding noises.
- Inspect wiring: Open the top or side panel (per Fairland design) and verify the fan motor plug is firmly connected to the control board or capacitor.
If E10 remains:
- The fan motor or its capacitor is likely defective and should be replaced. This is best done by a technician to ensure correct wiring and safe operation.
