Possible Causes
Corrupted control board memory, Power surge damage, Internal control board failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker.
- Power reset: Leave the unit powered off for at least 5–10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge, then restore power and see if the error clears.
- Check supply voltage and grounding: Ensure the unit is properly grounded and that line voltage is within specification. Surges and poor grounding can corrupt the controller.
- Inspect board: Remove the control panel cover and visually inspect the control board for burn marks, swollen components, or moisture damage.
- Replacement: If EE persists, the control board will likely need to be replaced with an OEM Heat Siphon board by a qualified technician.
