How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off heater and pump before adjusting valves or opening filters.
- Check flow rate: Ensure the pool pump is correctly sized and running at the required speed. Clean filters and baskets.
- Adjust bypass: If a bypass is installed, gradually close the bypass to increase flow through the heater, monitoring inlet and outlet pressures.
- Inspect heat exchanger: Look for signs of scaling or fouling (reduced performance, high delta‑T). Chemical cleaning may be required following Hewalex guidelines.
- Verify sensors: Check inlet and outlet NTC sensors for correct installation and operation (see E05/E06).
