Possible Causes
Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse, Faulty main power contactor, Loose or burned power connections, Failed main control PCB power supply section
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Only work on live circuits if you are qualified. Otherwise, limit checks to visual inspection and breaker status.
- Check breaker and disconnect: Verify that the dedicated breaker for the Hewalex heater is ON and that any external disconnect switch is closed.
- Inspect power cable: Look for visible damage to the supply cable and terminal block inside the unit (with power off).
- Internal fuses: Some models have internal fuses on the control board. With power off, check and replace only with identical rated fuses if blown.
- Test voltage (qualified persons): Measure voltage at the unit’s input terminals. If correct voltage is present but the display remains off, the control board power supply may be faulty and require replacement.
