Possible Causes
Loose control board connectors, Corroded harness plugs, Faulty display/keypad board, Failed main control board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before opening the control panel.
Steps to troubleshoot FA:
- Inspect wiring harnesses: Remove the front panel and locate the low-voltage harnesses between the main control board and the display/keypad. Unplug and re-seat each connector to wipe oxidation from the pins.
- Check for moisture: Look for signs of water intrusion or condensation inside the control compartment. Dry the area thoroughly and correct any leaks or missing grommets.
- Visual board inspection: Examine both boards for burnt components, corrosion, or cracked solder joints.
- Replace suspect board: If connections are clean and secure but FA persists, replace the display/keypad board first. If the fault remains, the main control board may need replacement.
Board replacement should be done with power off and using anti-static precautions. If unsure, contact a Jacuzzi service technician.
