Safety first: Turn off power and gas before removing panels. If you smell gas, evacuate and call your gas supplier.

Steps to diagnose no heat:

Check display status: Confirm the heater is actually calling for heat (heating indicator on) and that setpoint is above water temperature.
Verify gas supply: Ensure the manual gas valve is open and that other gas appliances work normally.
Observe ignition sequence: With panels in place, restore power and call for heat. Listen for blower start, igniter operation, and gas valve click. If there is no flame, an ignition or gas valve issue is likely.
Check plumbing bypass: Ensure that any external bypass valves are not diverting all flow around the heater. Follow Jacuzzi’s recommended valve positions.

Gas valve and ignition troubleshooting should be performed by a licensed gas technician.
