Possible Causes
Stuck air pressure switch, Miswired pressure switch, Faulty blower relay on control board, Blocked vent system
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power. Do not bypass safety switches for normal operation.
- Inspect pressure switch wiring: Verify the air pressure switch wires are on the correct terminals per the wiring diagram inside the heater panel.
- Check switch operation: With power off, remove the tubing and gently blow through it to ensure it is clear. If the switch appears stuck (continuity when it should be open), replace it.
- Check venting: Inspect intake and exhaust for obstructions or improper installation that could affect blower operation.
- If AO2 remains: The control board blower relay or logic may be faulty. Have a technician test the board and replace if necessary.
