Possible Causes
Damaged Kripsol display/keypad module, Moisture ingress into front panel, Loose ribbon cable between UI and main board, Stuck or shorted keypad buttons
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front control panel. Avoid using sharp tools on the keypad surface.
- Dry the panel: If the heater is installed in a damp area, inspect the Kripsol display for condensation. Gently dry the area and improve ventilation or shielding.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front panel and check the flat cable connecting the keypad to the main board. Reseat both ends firmly.
- Check for stuck keys: Press each button individually and feel for normal travel. If any button is stuck or the membrane is damaged, the entire UI module may need replacement.
- Module replacement: Install a new Kripsol display/keypad module if the old one is unresponsive or causing E19. Ensure gasket seals are properly seated to prevent future moisture ingress.
