Possible Causes
Blocked intake or exhaust, Failed air pressure switch, Cracked or disconnected pressure tubing, Weak blower
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before accessing internal components.
Steps:
- Check vent and intake: Ensure both intake and exhaust pipes (if applicable) are clear of obstructions and properly terminated.
- Inspect pressure tubing: Locate the air pressure switch and its silicone tubing to the blower housing. Check for cracks, kinks, water accumulation, or disconnections. Replace tubing if brittle or damaged.
- Verify switch operation: With power off, remove the tubing and gently blow through it to ensure it is clear. Do not blow into the switch itself. Confirm the switch mounting and wiring are secure.
- Test with meter (advanced): A technician can check continuity across the pressure switch with the blower running to confirm operation.
If E11 persists after clearing venting and tubing issues, the pressure switch or blower may need replacement by a qualified technician.
