How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Turn off power before removing the control bezel.
- Check for control lock: Some Pentair heaters have a lock feature. Refer to the manual to unlock the keypad if a lock icon is shown.
- Inspect for moisture: Look for condensation or water behind the display lens. Dry the area thoroughly and correct any cover or gasket issues.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Carefully disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the keypad/display and main control board.
- Replace keypad/display: If buttons remain unresponsive, replace the keypad/display assembly with the correct Pentair part.
